On January 3, the letter “Will Tom McClintock Divorce Marjorie Taylor Greene?” was published online in both the Ledger Dispatch (Calaveras county) and the Ceres Courier (Stanislaus). After the letter was published in the Ledger Dispatch it received two responses written by McClintock supporters.
The editor of the Ceres Courier, who is an extreme Republican, has begun arguing about me in his columns. He criticized this article – Congressman Tom McClintock Asks, “Congressman Tom McClintock asks, “How high can the flames burn?” – by publishing the whole thing. (He thinks I’m a “wackadoodle” for saying the Republican Party is supported by QAnon, the Proud Boys, and the Oath Keepers.)
The Fresno Bee published a letter to the editor – “Congressman Tom McClintock’s Credit Card Analogy” – with the wonderful headline ‘MTG McClintock.’ Unfortunately, they left out the part where I’m a candidate.
The word about the campaign is getting out within the media. Virtually every day I am sending them press statement (please look through them) that are hard-hitting, focused, and full of attacks. My objective is to get the local media prepped so they know who I am and, hopefully, I can start to shape how they cover Tom “Marjorie Taylor Greene” McClintock.
This earned media response is very exciting news for the campaign.
