Congressman Tom McClintock’s QAnon Terrorists

Congressman Tom “Marjorie Taylor Greene” McClintock belongs to a professional Republican Party that empowers a delusional, bizarre, and extremely violent group of people the FBI has certified a domestic terrorist threat.  At the beginning of 2022, an organization called the Public Religion Research Institute (PPRI) asked survey respondents three questions and measured agreement or disagreement with foundational QAnon beliefs.

  1. The government, media, and financial worlds in the U.S. are controlled by a group of Satan-worshiping pedophiles who run a global child sex-trafficking operation.
  2. There is a storm coming soon that will sweep away the elites in power and restore the rightful leaders.
  3. Because things have gotten so far off track, true American patriots may have to resort to violence in order to save our country.

What did they find?  First, every non-deluded American should be concerned.  Across the surveys, more than one in five Americans mostly or completely agree that there is a storm coming (22%), that violence might be necessary to save our country (18%), and that the government, media, and financial worlds are controlled by Satan-worshiping pedophiles (16%).

This is scary stuff.  But it gets worse, and becomes clearer, when this delusional, bizarre, and extremely violent ideology is broken down by partisanship.  Twenty-five percent of Republicans, 14% of independents, and 9% of Democrats’ brains have been infested with terroristic beliefs.

It gets even worse when broken down by partisanship and media intake.  Nearly half of Republicans (47%) who most trust far-right news outlets like One America News Network or Newsmax are QAnon believers, along with one-quarter of Republicans who most trust Fox News (26%) or do not trust TV news (26%). Eighteen percent of Republicans who trust mainstream media outlets like CNN, MSNBC, public television, or broadcast news are QAnon believers.

The professional Republican Party is bizarre.  Professional Republicans are very weird and extremely violent.  Without the 25% of their electorate that belongs to the FBI-certified terrorist threat QAnon, no professional Republican can be elected.  Not only do professional Republicans rely on QAnon as a voting bloc, but the terrorist organization has become politically empowered (i.e Marjorie Taylor Greene).

Think about this fact.  In 2022, 60 QAnon terrorists ran for Congress as professional Republicans.  That is 14% of the 435 congressional districts.  The Republican Party has consistently, not accidently, put forward candidates who belong to a terrorist organization.

Stop and think about that.  One of the two major political parties in America is now a conduit through which terrorists are gaining political power.  What if this was happening in a Middle Eastern country?  How exactly is this different from Hezbollah acting as a political party in Lebanon?

Without the delusional and terroristic QAnon Americans, Rep. Tom “Majorie Taylor Greene” McClintock would not be in the majority today.  He enables QAnon terrorists by caucusing with them, and maintains his grip on the levers of power by working with and proudly identifying the terrorists as fellow professional Republicans.

It is absolutely clear that Speaker McCarthy is only Speaker because of QAnon terrorists.  It is simply a fact that QAnon, an FBI-certified terrorist organization, has taken over the professional Republican Party.  Because the professional Republican Party enables the terrorists, QAnon is now in control of the House of Representatives.

More than 2,500 years ago, a man named Aesop wrote, “A man is known by the company he keeps.”  QAnon terrorists now have power in the U.S. House of Representatives because professional Republicans like Tom “Marjorie Taylor Greene” McClintock, who want to fundamentally transform America, keep company with terrorists.
