Help Jason Defeat Christian Nationalist Republican Tom McClintock

Jason Kassel, PhD (June 9, 1969) was born in Ft. Rucker, Alabama but raised from 2 years old forward in Fresno, CA. He attended Starr and Gibson elementary schools, Tenaya junior high, and Bullard High School. Afterwards, he attended UC Santa Cruz.

Between the time he received the BA and the PhD, Jason was involved in teaching at community colleges. His specialties were courses on American Government, State and Local Politics, and Political Theory.

Jason received his PhD in Political Science from the University of Florida in 2008. He received an award which led him to work in Washington, DC for a year before he took a position at Valdosta State University in Georgia. In 2016, Jason left Valdosta and had a visiting position at a university in Vietnam.

Jason Kassel, PhD has decided to enter the race for California’s 5th District because this is a tenuous moment in political history. In particular, Dr. Kassel is extremely worried by Christian Nationalist rhetoric and the genocidal language used to describe the transgender population.

The best way to understand my political philosophy and justification for entering the race (Christian Nationalist Republicans want to commit genocide against transgender Americans and the election of 2024 is secular pluralism versus Christian Nationalism) is to Look Inside my book A Candidate’s Journey on Amazon.

Look Inside A Candidate’s Journey on Amazon

Apart from the very large issue of Christian Nationalist Republicanism vs secular America, my 5th District Governing Agenda focuses on increasing Internet broadband throughout the 5th District’s small and rural counties.

Help Jason Defeat Christian Nationalist Republican Tom McClintock

Your support will help me expose and defeat Christian Nationalist Republican Tom McClintock. Here is how I will use your support:

The table below reveals that, in 2022, approximately 200,000 people did not show up to vote throughout the District’s eight counties.

I can win in 2024 if I’m able to mobilize 33% of the voters (one out of three) who were registered but didn’t vote in 2022.

Political scientists refer to these voters as “drop-off voters,” because they registered and then dropped-off. Within California’s 5th Congressional District, these drop-off voters are predominantly low-income Hispanics.

Your support will be used to fund the mobilization of low-income Hispanics and together we will defeat the Christian Nationalist Republican threat.
